Well, with my lack of girlfriend, here’s what I’ve been spending my time (and money) on. Guns…lots of guns. Granted, I had finished upgrading all of them (MEU, 1911A1, 416, MK 14) before the break-up, so the money I speak of went to the newest addition, the M4A1. Some may ask, “Why did you get that? It looks a lot like the 416? Why have multiple M4 style platforms?”. Many reasons:

• Gas-Blowback: Operates on Green Gas (or propane with a little bit of silicon oil). More realistic operation, has recoil when fired (less than a real firearm, but more than an AEG)
• All mechanical: No batteries needed. I’m not exactly tech savvy when it comes to wiring either. Internals are much simpler, though requires more maintenance (cleaning, oiling, etc.). Things can break down easier, but proper maintenance is the key.
• Accepts Real-Steel Parts: Gun parts and accessories manufactured for real weapons can be installed with minimal modification.
• The 416 was a gift from the ex. I’ll hold on to it, in case my guns shoot too hot for a field, but it has now been downgraded to a reserve role. I’m converting to all gas weapons now. [Update] Now trying to sell the base gun. SOLD!
